This portable mini kit contains: 10 x 10g balls of Scottish Shetland pure wool, a bodkin needle specially modified for this kit, double-sided sticky tape, two weaving boards and easy-to-follow instructions, which describe three traditional tartan patterns: Edinburgh City Tartan, Scottish Spirit Tartan and the Stirling and Bannockburn Tartan.
With a studio based in Stirling, Coorie Creative CIC is a social enterprise that uses the therapeutic art of textiles and weaving to support those who have experienced trauma and loss and are at risk of social isolation. They also run various workshops, such as tartan scarf weaving, alongside an online shop where people can buy a wide range of yarns and equipment for knitting, crocheting and weaving.
