Hagatha the Haggis is a collectable creature, created specially for V&A Dundee by Donna Wilson, for our tartan exhibition! Donna's knitted creatures are knitted in Scotland from the softest lambswool yarn, then assembled and embroidered by hand, therefore no two Hagatha's are exactly alike.
Donna Wilson is an award-winning Scottish textile designer, who knitted her first endearing creations whilst at the Royal College of Art, going on to set up her own east London studio. Proudly working with UK-based manufacturers and suppliers, Donna’s whimsical creations continue to delight. All of Donna’s Creatures and blankets are hand knitted in the UK using the softest Lambswool.
