Based in Glasgow, Stefanie Cheong is an ethical jewellery designer with a keen interest in our earth's history and geology. Working predominantly with Fairtrade and recycled materials, Stefanie also sources and collects beautiful rocks from across Scotland’s landscape and transforms them into unique pieces of jewellery with a contemporary aesthetic, using traditional stone cutting techniques.
The Kilkenny Limestone jewellery range by Stefanie Cheong was designed exclusively for V&A Dundee using off-cuts of the unique limestone flooring, sourced from Kilkenny, Ireland and selected for the interior of the museum by Architect Kengo Kuma, sharing his shared ethos of sustainability in design for this exciting commission. Part of this collection, and distinctive to Stefanie's style, the beautiful silver interchangeable ring features a circular frame cleverly made to accommodate a range of circular stones from all collections by the designer to encourage the sustainability and lasting wearability.
