Highlighting some perfect presents to make your festive season both fun and meaningful. It is a crazy world out there and we want to remind you that we've done all the hard work for you - so you can shop small, shop sustainably and support local makers and designers with us!

Here is just a small selection of the goodies we have in our shop and online...

From the railway bridge to a long gone Jute mill, these are talismans to treasure. Each one is handmade by Stephanie in her Dundee studio. Find them here >

Donna Wilson opened her gem of a microfactory the knitshop in Dundee earlier this year and now all the items she makes for us are knitted right here in Dundee, from Agnes the cuddly creature, to our own Selkie the seal and Marmalade the mooseum highland cow, each one born and bred/knitted with love in Dundee and then hand-finished, ,making each one totally unique.

Donna also designed the wonderful Jute, Jam and Journalism Jumper just for us. You could not find a more meaningful jumper anywhere, it is a gift to last a lifetime and beyond, one you can hand down to future generations, it truly is the one thing over everything. Christmas isn't Christmas without some chocolate and we can personally vouch for how tasty this Dundee cake chocolate truly is, in it's fine tartan wrapper! You can find it here >

Jo-Ami is a multi talented knitwear designer based here in Dundee and we are huge fans of all she does. She made these tasty toasty striped socks just for us, along with some other winter warm woolly knits that you will find here >

Karen Mabon was born and bred in Scotland and it remains dear to her heart. With her childhood in mind she designed the Pick and Mix range for us for our opening (almost five years ago) and it is still a firm favorite! From a stylish silk scarf to a velvet backed cushion, a Dundee cake or some Scottish Shortbread, this range covers a lot of great gifts, all using Karen's cleverly designed pick n' mix pattern which features items from our Scottish design gallery.

In a more is more world, with consumerism gone awry we hope you can agree that some retail is good retail and that you will find joy and meaning with us this festive season.
