Collection: Johanna Basford

We are delighted to work with the renowned illustrator and ink evangelist Johanna Basford. Johanna studied at Duncan of Jordanstone, here in Dundee and now lives and works in Aberdeenshire. Preferring pens and pencils to pixels, Johanna virtually single-handedly reinvented the art of colouring in 2013 with her book 'Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Colouring Book'.

Since then she has a mission to inspire the world to put down their devices and pick up a pen or pencil and create happy. Firmly believing that anyone can draw or be creative, you just need a little nudge! 
Johanna has released 14 colouring books, selling over 25 million copies worldwide. Her new book, 'Wonderful Wildflowers’ which inspired her prints and notecards made exclusively for V&A Dundee, is out this November and we’ll be hosting a special colouring events at V&A Dundee to celebrate!
