Inspired by Anna’s own swallow tattoos and a small cast-metal bird ornament discovered at a church fête more than 40 years ago, these delicate flying swallows offer a contemporary take on vintage flying duck wall décor.
Each Lucky Swallow is made entirely from reclaimed beach plastic, including broken fish boxes collected during beach cleans in Scotland. The plastic is washed, shredded and moulded into shape in East Scotland, creating a unique finish with colour variations drawn directly from the original material.
Display one as a small finishing touch, or create a striking flock of birds flying across a wall. They look especially effective in groups of three or more, whether you choose a colourful mix or build a more tonal arrangement.

Anna Campbell Jones
Anna Campbell Jones is a Glasgow-based interior designer and design consultant, and founder of Habitus. A former lecturer at The Glasgow School of Art, she is also known as a judge on Scotland’s Home of the Year.
In 2023, Anna launched her sustainable Scottish-made interiors brand, Habitus, bringing together her love of bold pattern, colour and 20th-century design.
Ally Mitchell
Ally Mitchell is a former deep-sea saturation diver and founder of Ocean Kitchen Scotland. His purpose-driven business transforms recovered marine plastic into practical, design-led products, helping to reduce waste and raise awareness of ocean plastic pollution.
