The Daytrippers Furoshiki is a multiple purpose accessory designed by Manami Sukurai. A Furoshiki can be used as a scarf, as fabric gift wrapping, as a food wrapper & carrier, as a bag, or as wall hanging. This specially commissioned design, titled 'Daytrippers' is inspired by this year's Daytrippers project, portraying a blissful summer's day out in nature.
Daytrippers! is a collaboration between V&A Dundee and Local Heroes that supports designers by commissioning collectable, limited edition souvenirs. This is our second year partnering with Local Heroes to celebrate summer and Scottish design and manufacturing.
