Marda Cold Pressed Bitter Finish is a new, limited edition bottle, one of only 972, harvested by farmer Jalal Kuffash, whose family has cultivated this land in Marda village in the northern West Bank of Palestine for over a hundred years.
Sourced from 100% naturally grown Nabali olive trees ranging from one hundred to over a thousand years old and personally tended to by Jalal and his family, year-round. The olives are picked and pressed on the same day to create a premium Palestinian extra virgin olive oil round and smooth on the palate, with a bitter finish, ideal for enhancing salads and vinaigrettes.
Each bottle features bold and beautiful graphic artwork by Palestinian designers. The Marda bottle artwork is by Rami Afifi, its design is symbolic of the right to return, inspired by archival photographs of Palestinians holding the keys to their homes.
