The Limestone, originating from Kilkenny in Ireland is an integral part of architect Kengo Kuma’s design of the V&A Dundee. Each geometric ring has been beautifully crafted using off-cuts of the limestone floor tiles featured in the museum and comprises relics of ancient fossils, a fascinating characteristic of this natural material.
