Designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, these Tsumiki stacking blocks transform simple wooden forms into sculptural structures inspired by architecture.
“Tsumiki”, the Japanese word for wooden blocks, reflects Kuma’s fascination with natural materials and modular design. Crafted from FSC certified Japanese cedar, the lightweight triangular pieces combine to create an endless variety of geometric sculptures.
Produced in collaboration with More Trees, an organisation promoting sustainable forestry in Japan, the blocks celebrate the beauty of natural materials while encouraging creativity and play.
These sculptural Tsumiki blocks reflect Kuma’s architectural approach to structure, material and form.
A thoughtful design gift for architecture enthusiasts, design lovers and creative minds, these blocks reflect the architectural philosophy of the designer behind V&A Dundee.
